Julius Caesar
Lighting Programmer & Projection Engineer for the first large scale production by UB Theatre and Dance on the Mainstage at the UB Center for the Arts. One of the more unique challenges for this show was creating an even brightness across the entire backdrop using two 2,300 Lumen projectors and one 10,500 Lumen projector. Our solution was to hang the two smaller projectors next to one another to cover the Stage Right half of the backdrop with the larger projector hung at the balcony rail focused on the Stage Left side of the backdrop. The difference in distance and lens ratio helped us to create an almost uniform look on our fragmented backdrop fitting for our post modern take on a literary classic.
