Steven Zehler is an actively practicing theatre designer and technician with over ten years of experience in the field. Earning his Bachelors Degree in Technical Theatre and Design from the University at Buffalo's Department of Theatre and Dance in 2016, Zehler has since worked for several regional theaters in the greater Buffalo, New York area as well as at BAV Services (now INSPIRE Solutions), Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and currently he works at The Walt Disney World Resort bringing world class entertainment to life for guests of Disney's Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and the ESPN Wide World of Sports.
Zehler currently works on shows such as the popular Festival of the Lion King and the new Finding Nemo: The Big Blue and Beyond! while also working on events around Walt Disney World property, most recently as the Lighting Crew Chief of the Advent Health Arena during the 2024 Varsity Cheer season at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
Zehler is also a resident designer for Dancentral Studios in Williamsville New York and has been their Projection Designer for the past six years as well as their lighting designer for the past four years.
